Modena, Ghirlandina Tower, Torresani Hall: the "Capital of the Judge" or "of the Upright Judge and of the Corrupt Judge", work by Campionesi masters, XII - XIII century.There are three carved scenes. Detail of a scene which represents the good judge crowned by an angel and a man in the act of supplication. In the other scene the corruption of the bad judge is represented. The crooked judge is depicted with a chain around his neck held by Lucifer.The inscription informs us that a crooked judge corrupted by money will give a judgment not in accordance with his conviction.
