Dante Alighieri

A tribute to Dante Alighieri and the Divine Comedy. Here are some portraits of the great fourteenth-century poet such as that by Bronzino and, among others in Florence, the statue in front of the Basilica of S. Croce, the portrait in the Cathedral of S. Maria del Fiore and that in the Palazzo dell'Arte dei Giudici and Notai. There are also some paintings with subjects that refer to the masterpiece of the father of the Italian language.
