Bergamo and its Surroundings

An overview of the city of Bergamo which includes both the Lower Town with the Bernareggi Museum and the Upper Town with Piazza Vecchia, Palazzo della Ragione, the Cathedral, the Civic Tower, the Colleoni Chapel and the Church of S. Michele al Pozzo Bianco. In the surroundings of the Lombard city, attention is paid to the profane frescoes of the fifteenth century by Marcello Fogolino or Romanino preserved in the Castle of Malpaga in Cavernago and on the cycle of frescoes of the same period in the Oratory of Disciplini or San Bernardino (the cycles the "Life of Jesus", the "Triumph of Death" and the "Macabre Dance") by Giacomo Borlone De Buschis.
