Genoa, Museum of the Treasury of the Cathedral of San Lorenzo: the Ark processional Ash St. John the Baptist. The Ark was commissioned by the Priors Chapel and was built by Teramo Danieli and Simone Caldera, 1438 - 1445, embossed silver, cast, gilt and enamels. The form proposes a Gothic church in miniature, in the central part are the stories of the Precursor: Announcement to Zechariah, Visitation, Birth; Imposition of the name, The Angel leads John in the desert, Preaching, and the Feast of Herod and the Burial. The corners: S. John the Evangelist, St. Matthew, St. George and St. Lawrence.
