Brescia, piazza della Loggia (a Renaissance square where the Venetian influence is evident): the Clock Tower (1540 - 1550) with the astronomical quadrant with concentric rings, decorated in gold and blue and with symbols of the Zodiacal signs. Above the dial, a plinth adorned with the symbol of the sun and a volute base that stand as a pedestal for the automata, the popular Macc de le ure (crazy hours) that hammer at every hour on the bell.
