Vicenza

A gallery dedicated to the Venetian town, the cradle of some of the masterpieces by the Renaissance architect Andrea Palladio. The historic centre with the Renaissance palaces, the Palladian Basilica, the Olympic Theatre, the Church of Santa Corona, the Church of St Lawrence, the Cathedral, but also the museums such as Palazzo Chiericati with the rich collection of paintings and sculptures, and the Museum of the Jewel.

Behind him, the chariot of the Moon driven by Diana ”. The frescoes in the panels represent the constellations. The white and golden stucco squares are by Bartolomeo Ridolfi.
