Mantua, Palazzo Te (Gonzaga's Summer residence): Camera delle Aquile (the Chamber of the Eagles) or Phaeton's Chamber (Federico Gonzaga's private room), the vault: at the centre, the fresco by Giulio Romano representing Phaeton falling from his chariot. Around the central octagon, the vault is divided into eight lunettes with playful putts by plaster vine branches, realized by Primaticcio.
