Several particularly innovative solutions were adopted in series production. The Scott was the first motorcycle to adopt water cooling. Some construction choices such as the open triangle frame, allowing the vehicle to be used by a female public, seemed to indicate the desire to address a “relaxed” user base. Despite this, the Scott soon proved to be a fast and efficient motorcycle, collecting numerous sporting successes. It reached 105 km/h. It won the Tourist Trophy in 1912 and 1913.

Umberto Panini, the owner of this model, worked at Maserati in those years and wanted to preserve this memory. The T4 presents notable technical refinements: it is the first production motorcycle with dual ignition and has twin-helical gears in the distribution. It had a rather calm nature (it did not exceed 120 km/h) and a good linearity of power delivery, but it was not successful and no more than 200 examples were produced. The surviving ones are rare.

All this happens under the rider's saddle....). With these modifications it reaches 50 km/h. Perfecta tricycles won many competitions including: 1st and 2nd place at the Turin - Bussoleno - Susa in 1899; 1st at the 1900 Padova - Vicenza - Treviso - Bassono - Padova; 10 km record on the Padova - Bovolenta route... and many others.

(bore and stroke 66 x 70)engine: single-cylinder two-stroke gearbox: four ratios split between a gearbox and a reducer with coaxial control on the tank and final belt transmissionEmilio Malasagna is active in Pinerolo with his brother, starting from 1920. He produces motorcycles from 1920 until '24. Some technical characteristics, as well as the place of production, suggest that this bike, like the others built by BMP and very similar to this one, was designed especially for climbs. Its peculiar characteristics that suggest a particularly heavy use are the large and deep finning of the cylinder, the lubrication system which, in addition to the use of a 10% mixture, also included a pump for the extra drip oil, but above all the particular type of two-speed
